Site notice
There is no terms-of-service document on this site, because nothing here is being sold and no account can be created. Publishing contractual terms for a service that is not yet offered would create commitments that do not correspond to anything real. This notice covers what genuinely applies.
Who publishes this site
This site is published by the team building SolaDesk, a service operations platform for solar and battery portfolios, and the team behind the GridSync energy platform that SolaDesk is designed to read from. SolaDesk and GridSync are separate products with separate users and separate systems of record.
Company registration details are not published here yet. They are not recorded in the documents this site was built from, and a registration number, registered address or VAT number invented for the purpose would be a false record. They will be added once confirmed.
How to read the statements on this site
SolaDesk is in active development. Where a capability on this site carries a status label, that label is meant literally:
- Running on staging
- Implemented and working, on a protected internal deployment with synthetic data only. Not available to customers.
- Designed, not built
- The contract or model is settled and documented. No implementation exists.
- Planned
- Intended. Not yet designed in detail.
- Not connected
- Deliberately absent today, and stated so because its absence might otherwise be assumed away.
Anything described as designed or planned is a statement of current intent, not a commitment to deliver on a date. Plans change, and where they do this site will be corrected rather than left to read optimistically.
This site is not an offer
- Nothing on this site constitutes an offer to supply a service, a quotation, a price, or a service-level commitment.
- No response time, resolution time, availability figure or performance outcome is offered anywhere on this site, and none should be inferred.
- Any pilot or partnership arrangement would be agreed in writing between the parties. This page is an invitation to a conversation.
- The screenshots show the product's internal staging environment. The partners, sites, customers and cases in them are synthetic test data, not real customers.
Content and intellectual property
The text, diagrams, product screenshots and the SolaDesk name and mark on this site belong to the SolaDesk team. GridSync is the name of the associated energy platform. This site uses no stock photography and no third-party imagery; every asset on it was produced for it.
Privacy
This site has no forms, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no non-essential cookies, so it asks you for nothing. Our hosting provider does process ordinary technical request data in order to deliver the page. The privacy notice explains that in full, and separately describes the data-protection controls being built into the product itself.
